How have we helped the Eti Steatit Company reduce tool costs?

1. What was the nature of the problem?

Technical ceramic pressing moulds have a sophisticated form of engraving which can only be made by wire or sink erosion, both of which are very slow treatment processes.

2. What solution did we offer?

We have found an optimal solution in cooperation with the customer’s construction department. Our technologists have suggested possible methods of simplifying the manufacture of moulding parts and thus reducing the production time.

3. What are the consequences of our solution?

   We have reduced the production time and, consequently, the tool production costs for 28 %.
   
   
2. We have, thus, also reduced tool manufacturing time.
