INFORMATION ON VIDEO SURVEILLANCE
We would like to inform you that PLAMTEX INT., trgovina in proizvodnja, d.o.o., Žeja pri Komenda commercial zone, Pod bukvami 8, 1218 Komenda, Slovenia (hereinafter: Controller, company) carries our video surveillance of business premises, which includes the entry area, and the inside and surrounding area of the premises (hereinafter: video surveillance).

2. The purpose of processing personal data and carrying out video surveillance
We process personal data using a video surveillance system in order to protect persons and property in the Controller’s protected area to the best possible extent.
The Controller carries out video surveillance to:
- protect the interests of the company and thus to:
- protect and ensure safety of employees,
- protect the company’s assets (equipment, machinery, tools, and devices); and
- prevent any accident or, in the event that one occurs, to act as soon as possible and prevent its consequences, as well as to establish the cause for the accident;
- monitor the entry and exit from business premises and the company area surrounding the premises;
- identify the perpetrator in case of attempted vandalism or other criminal offences (theft, burglary…) and take appropriate action.
3. Legal basis for processing personal data:
Video surveillance is carried out on the basis of legitimate interests of the Controller, Article 6(1)(f) of the General Data Protection Regulation in conjunction with Articles 76, 77 and 78 of the Personal Data Protection Act (ZVOP-2).
4. Categories of processed personal data:
Video surveillance is carried out primarily to protect the company’s assets, ensure safety of employees and visitors, prevent damage, and determine the circumstances and causes for the occurred damage, or for the purposes defined in paragraph 2 of this document.
The following personal data are processed on the basis of video surveillance:
- video of the individual (image),
- location and date of recording.
5. Users or categories of personal data users:
Company manager/management board, authorized persons.
6. Authorised persons having access to live video and monitoring, and audio intervention:
Access to a live video or live monitoring is provided to the company manager/management board and possible authorised persons.
There is no audio intervention during video surveillance.
7. Information on transfer of personal data to third countries or international organizations:
We do not transfer personal data to third countries.
8. Storage period of personal data:
Videos of persons, recorded for purposes, set out in paragraph 2 of this document, are stored for 2 (two) months. After the expiry of this period (2 months), personal data are automatically deleted. Video surveillance videos are stored exclusively on the recording device located at the company’s headquarters.
9. Information on individual’s rights:
With regard to your personal data, you have the following rights:
- the right of access;
- the right to rectify incomplete or inaccurate data;
- the right to delete data;
- the right to restrict data processing;
- the right to object.
You can exercise these rights with the Controller (i.e. PLAMTEX INT., d.o.o.,) in accordance with ZVOP-2 and the General Data Protection Regulation,
